School Playground Mural - Hermitage Park Parent Council
The Idea: We would like to create a mural with a local artist to celebrate our ‘Secret Garden’ with the design created by the students. We also want to purchase litter picking equipment to help keep the space tidy and encourage children to take pride in their playground.

Anime Club - The Ripple (Student Idea)
The Idea: We would like to run an Anime club at Craigentinny Primary School, to provide a safe space for fans of Anime to discuss manga, draw characters and play some anime games.

Tai Chi Classes - Chi and Tea
The Idea: To return to Craigentinny Community Garden and offer Tai Chi classes to the local community, after a successful 8-week pilot last year. This year, we would like to offer classes for 22 weeks.

Outdoor Play - Little Larch Nursery (Formerly Leith St Andrews Playgroup)
The Idea: We would like to purchase a poly tunnel and create a permanent outdoor play area for the children attending the nursery at Loaning Crescent

Outdoor Activities - Lochend Secret Garden
The Idea: To host four well-being activities in the Lochend Secret Garden for the local community. The events will include guided foraging walks, nature journaling and a silent disco.

Kit and Competitions - Lochend Boxing Club
The Idea: We would like to purchase training equipment for our younger boxers and enter competitions throughout Scotland. We want to continue to support our young people to become role models for their peers.

Outdoor ESB Project - Craigentinny Parent Council
The Idea: To transform one of the outdoor spaces at Craigentinny Primary School for the benefit of our upper primary ESB children (with additional support needs) by upgrading the old nursery equipment.

Wellbeing Residential - Ripple Wellbeing Project
The Idea: To fund a 3 night residential trip for 7 members of our wellbeing group. We want our local people to feel safe and connected away from the stresses of their everyday environment. Many activities on the trip are focused on nature and the outdoors.

LCR Stands Up is an opportunity for people to decide, by voting, which local projects should receive some funding through Participatory Budgeting. Everybody aged 8 and above who lives, works, volunteers, or studies in Restalrig, Lochend and Craigentinny is eligible to vote.
